사랑하는 동지들,
우리는 한국에서 벌어지고 있는 정리해고의 실상에 대해서 들었고, 많은
해고자들이 살고 있는 집에서 나가라는 통보를 받은 것을 알게 되었습니다. 이것은
믿을 수 없는 일입니다.
이런 도발에 대해서, 우리는 대우자동차 노동자 여러분에게 뜨거운 연대를
보냅니다.
얼마 전 저희 CGT를 방문했던 체포결사대에게 우리는 이미 연대의 뜻을
전했습니다.
하지만 해고를 명목 삼아서 가장 기본적인 주거권까지 위협하고, 자녀들의 교육권,
건강까지 해치는 대우자동차 경영진의 조치는 도저히 받아들일 수 없습니다.
저희들의 연대의 의지를 모든 대우노동자와 가족들에게 전해주십시오.

Dear comrades,
We have heard of the Daewoo Motor workers lay-offs in Korea, as
well as the unbelievable summons to leave their housing.
In the face of this attack, we assure you of our
solidarity. We already
expressed it to comrades from Daewoo when they visited the
CGT a short time
ago.
But we find it untenable that, under the guise of job
losses, Daewoo should
threaten such fundamental rights such as housing and hence
the right to
children's education and health.
Please rest assured of our entire solidarity.
